FINE TUNE YOUR ACTIONS! MyPreferences lets you define useful parameters
of your entire theSingle.com experience by checking the boxes accordingly:
- Notification: You
can receive latest updates form theSingle.com via E-mail.
- E-mail
Alert: You can receive an E-mail whenever someone answers one of your ads or drops
you a note in your One2One
channel. You will never miss it!
- SingleID:
You can determine, if your Single-Name should be published with your ads, replies
or in the One2One
communication. If you click "Never Show my SingleID" you will be referred
to other users as "Anonymous (Registered)". You can always override
this when performing an action.
- You
can hide your ZIP code and Location by clicking "Never show my ZIP code".
You can always override it when performing an action.
- Previews:
You can choose to preview all your actions at theSingle.com eg. changing your
Locator settings,
posting and viewing
ads, replying to ads or communicating in the One2One
channel.
- Your
Category: By specifying your sexual preference, you will only see ads accordingly.
When viewing ads or
within the One2One
communication you can override your choice any time.
- SingleFlags:
You can refine your search by declaring what you're really looking for in the
personal ads. You may select as many flags as best fits your criteria. Be honest.
The SingleFlags stand for:
Sex: This is a very straightforward way in what you are looking for and self-explanatory;
Friendship: You are heading to cyberspace to find a friend;
Relationship: You are looking for love and relationship;
Kinky Fun: Test your imagination and test new grounds. Please be careful:
You will only see ads which match your SingleFlags. If you are looking for "Sex"
you will only see ads which are posted with the SingleFlag "Sex" as
well. When viewing ads under "View Ads" you may skip your flags preference
at any time. - Keyword
Search: You can further refine your search by defining some keywords. Please be
careful: You will only see ads with your defined keywords in it. That can leave
you with an empty ad list when choosing too exotic search words. When viewing
ads though you can skip your search keywords any time.
